A committee under the chairmanship of the late Myles Murphy working with designers and builders completed the new clubhouse in 1981. It was officially opened by the then captain Mr. Hugh O’Donnell in Dec 1981.

It was large enough for the membership at the time but in the mid nineties a new committee was formed under the chairmanship of Seamus Hanley to renovate and extend the building to it’s present size. The renovated clubhouse was officially opened by Jack Lynch,
President of The Golfing Union of Ireland, in June 1998.
